any process that has the aim of augmenting knowledge, resolving
doubt, or solving a problem. St. Richard is presently working on
year two of an incredible journey of inquiry. At St.
Richard you will experience a vibrant learning community that
embraces the many different ways children can be smart. St. Richard
has a continually evolving morning news show and the weekly “Morning
Thunder Variety Show” in which students celebrate achievements,
share talents and provide a school-wide Critical Thinking Challenge
(The CTC). Each class then has time to discuss the challenge and
share responses.
St. Richard is a relatively small,
family-oriented school with a caring and inclusive environment that
provides a strong academic program for students in Kindergarten
through to Grade Six. Literacy is a strong focus for us, as well as
the arts. Our
highly motivated and dedicated staff are committed to nurturing the
personal and academic growth
of each student - growing and learning to his or her potential. St. Richard is a Christ-centered learning community fostering
leadership and service to others. We have a strong partnership with
our parish and parents, who take an active role in educating our
